Rebirth of a landmark Ivy Lea Inn restoration boasts cottages, fine dining.

Spring 2010 Newsletter

The Ivy Lea Club extends a hearty welcome back to all our patrons.

We are glad to report that the official opening Victoria Day weekend, with July like temperatures, had everyone in great spirits.

First in response to the many inquiries; the Ivy Lea Club and The Ivy’s executive chef Robert Gobbo apologize for the delay in the opening of the restaurant.  Please know that we are making every effort to have it open for your enjoyment. In fact, the grounds near the restaurant are simultaneously being transformed into a garden paradise, so that all will be finished as soon as possible.

The Ivy will keep you posted with updates. Please visit the website: http://www.ivylea.ca/ or call us at 613 659 2486 for an update.

Our website is currently being updated to provide more detailed information on upcoming events, and The Ivy Restaurant’s new menus for both the Dining room and Patio.

Swimming Pool

Construction of the new swimming pool is underway, and we anticipate its completion mid July.  Thankfully the new pool will be much larger and sport a nice size deck surrounded by a beautiful lawn.   (photo sample pool)

General Store

The Ivy Lea Club is very excited to announce our soon to be opened General Store located in the Coach House. Rob Gobbo, The Ivy’s Executive chef, will have some of your favourite delights available. Sticky toffees will likely be a regular, a pasta special and several of the favorite items and dressings that we have in the restaurant along with delicious ice cream made by an Ontario dairy in Belleville.  As well, there will be casual Roots clothing for sale.

On behalf of all of us at The Ivy Lea Club, we wish you an enjoyable and healthy 2010 season.
